Years ago when this genealogy was first started it wasn't clear how this John Robinson was or was not related to my family. Since dna has come out we have found that this John Robinson is a 100% match with my family. John descends from Luke Robinson who died in Marlboro Co., SC., and may have been either a brother or at least a cousin of Thomas Robinson Sr. Luke Robinson's wife was Christina Ussery whose sister, Mary (Polly) married Solomon Gross.
